Is There a Climate Crisis?

A brilliant community forum was put on in the Cowichan Valley last weekend by Citizens Oversight & Accountability Project (COAP) which focused on Climate: Is the Science Settled. Their guest speaker was Donal O’Callaghn from the Irish Climate Science forum. The take away from Dr. O’Callaghn's presentation, that was filled with valuable charts and statistics, is that science does not back up the constant media coverage that leads us to believe we are in a climate crisis. 

While this news is a positive discovery, we need to find ways to educate the public so they can understand that the so called CLIMATE CRISIS is being used to justify the new normal our government is planning for us - electric cars or no cars, loss of our farmers & small businesses, meat produced in a lab, digital ID to track our carbon footprint, 15 minute cites, etc.
