Freedom Rising MessageDear Freedom leaders According to Dr. Bret Weinstein Ph.D, we are in a state of “catastrophic epistemic failure.” In a summary of his message Camus writes: “He argues that our truth-seeking mechanisms have broken down, plunging society into a darkness where basic facts are contested and certainty is a relic. Weinstein warns that this is not an academic problem; it is an existential threat. He analogizes that the human mind cannot long tolerate such profound disorientation. A society that cannot agree on reality, he contends, is blindfolded at the wheel, on an inevitable collision
course with disaster. Therefore, Weinstein stresses that this battle is not optional. He believes the continuity of our civilization, and potentially our survival as a species, depends on reclaiming a shared understanding of the world. The paralyzing division we see, in his view, is not accidental; it is a strategic tool. Its function is to prevent us from rebuilding the collective capacity to reason, communicate, and chart a rational course forward. This chaos, he
notes, serves someone’s interest—identifying who matters less than recognizing its destructive purpose. Weinstein's conclusion is that our primary task is not to assign blame, but to rebuild. We must urgently restore the foundational tools: intellectual honesty, good-faith debate, and a commitment to discernible evidence.” This is what we are attempting to do with Freedom Rising – good faith debate, intellectual honesty, and a commitment to the truth based on discernible
evidence. Our gathering each week is not entertainment or simply intellectual stimulation, but rather an attempt to provide the foundation for the future we seek for our children and grandchildren. The Peoples Emergency PlanBy Tom Marazzo
Tom Marazzo is a Canadian military veteran, former teacher, and leader in the 2022 Canadian convoy protest. Tom has dedicated most of his life to serving Canadians. He joined the Army Reserve at sixteen and eight years later, enrolled in the Regular Force Army, rising to the rank of Captain. After 25 years of service, Tom retired from the Armed Forces in
2015. While in the military, Tom earned a Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology and Architecture, as well as an MBA. Upon retirement, he completed a Bachelor of Technology in Software Development and was an instructor at a Community College until 2020, when he was fired for questioning the legality of vaccine mandates. Determined to stand for the Charter Rights and Freedoms of Canadians, Tom volunteered at the Canadian Trucker

Friday Meeting Recordings
As a standard of practice, the Friday Freedom leaders meetings are not recorded. This decision is based on the intention to have freedom leaders attend a meeting at the same time with the goal to deepen the relationships between leaders. Secondly, the desire is for frank conversations. The hope is that the lack of recording contributes to richer conversations. That
said, there are some presentations that are so rich and informative that a decision is made to enable our freedom leaders the opportunity to review a presentation and utilize the information more fully. We ask you not to share these recordings without the permission of the presenter.
